On January 3, 2022, 25-year-old Andrew Santiago was fatally shot on the back porch of his home in Clintonville, Ohio. Santiago, a male of Hispanic ethnicity, was discovered by police around 12:30 a.m. after responding to a report of a shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene, marking the city's first homicide of the year.
