On March 10, 2022, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Cincinnati police responded to reports of gunfire on Laidlaw Avenue near Paddock Road in the Bond Hill neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old David Michael Mitchell, a male from Cincinnati, lying in the street with at least one gunshot wound. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
