Trentant Dotson, a 29-year-old male from Toledo, OH, tragically died on March 18, 2022, from injuries sustained in a shooting incident. Dotson was found early on Friday morning along Hill Avenue near a vehicle that had crashed into Resurrection Cemetery. He had been shot in both legs, and his vehicle had several bullet holes in it. Despite the efforts of the police to administer first aid and transport him to the hospital, Dotson succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

Deputy Coroner, Dr. Thomas Blomquist, ruled the manner of death as a homicide. Toledo police detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, but they have not yet determined where the shooting took place or identified any suspects. The police have appealed to the public for any information that might help solve the case.
