On April 30, 2022, 16-year-old Neiko McIntyre was fatally shot in the early hours of the morning in Toledo, Ohio. McIntyre, a student at Whitmer High School, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the middle of Orville Drive near North Detroit Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lucas County coroner later confirmed that McIntyre's death was a homicide, as he had been shot at least eight times.
