On the evening of April 14, 2013, a discovery was made on the 2300 block of Sturtevant in Detroit. Inside a vehicle, officers found the body of Tony Baxter, a 27-year-old male. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident, which occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m., added another name to the city's list of homicides for the year.
