Abby N. Noftz, a 28-year-old woman from Norwalk, Ohio, tragically passed away on July 9, 2022. She was found in her apartment with a gunshot wound to her head. The Norwalk Police Chief, Dave Smith, mentioned that while the death was initially considered a possible suicide, the case was still under investigation. Detectives Jared Ferris and Paul Gardner, along with agents from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, were handling the case.
