Daniel Stein, a 58-year-old man from Studio City, California, tragically died on October 5, 2022, in Akron, Ohio. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head at a home on Sumner Street, near the University of Akron campus. The Summit County Medical Examiner confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. Stein was visiting Akron to address a rent dispute with his tenant, Eric Pursley.
