On November 2, 2022, Kace Deleon Pleasant, Harold's 22-year-old grandson, was indicted on multiple charges, including aggravated murder. According to the indictment, Kace was accused of killing his grandfather at their residence on October 26, 2022. The charges also included abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, theft of a motor vehicle, failure to comply with police orders, and fleeing and eluding.
