Donald Lee Wood, a 78-year-old resident of Ironton, Ohio, tragically died on September 8, 2023. His death was the result of a violent incident involving his stepson, David Maynard. According to reports, Maynard shot Wood at their shared residence after tying up a female companion. The police were alerted when a concerned individual contacted them after speaking with Maynard, who disclosed the crime and urged the caller to notify authorities.
