Tom Nicholson, a male of unspecified ethnicity, was tragically killed on July 17, 1988, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was one of four victims who lost their lives in a mass shooting incident on Old Salisbury Road. The perpetrator, Michael Charles Hayes, shot nine people in total, killing four and injuring five others. Hayes later claimed that he believed the victims were demons that needed to be killed.
