Thomas Walker Nicholson, a 24-year-old male from Winston-Salem, NC, tragically lost his life on July 17, 1988. Nicholson was one of four victims in a horrific shooting spree carried out by Charles Michael Hayes, who claimed he was targeting demons. The incident occurred in Winston-Salem, where Hayes shot the victims at close range with a .22-caliber rifle. The other victims included Crystal Cantrell, 16, Melinda Hayes, 29, and Ronald Lee Hull, 32.
