Joshua Bernard Brown, a 27-year-old African American male from Winston-Salem, NC, tragically died on April 30, 2016. He was shot in the early morning hours after leaving a house party on Cameron Avenue. Brown was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries later that day. An autopsy revealed that he had been shot twice, with one bullet causing fatal damage to his heart and lungs.
Following Brown's death, Harry Lee Hunter Jr., a 26-year-old man, was charged with first-degree murder
