Shennel R. McCrimon McKendall, a 37-year-old African American woman from Chapel Hill, NC, tragically lost her life on November 29, 2004. She was a receptionist at the University of North Carolina's James T. Hendrick Building. Shennel was killed in an apparent murder-suicide incident involving her estranged husband, Randy Leverne McKendall, who was 34 years old.
