Linda Malone Thomas, a 57-year-old woman from Mooresville, NC, tragically passed away on October 11, 2009. She died alongside her husband, Douglas Alan Thomas Sr., in what was later determined to be a family shooting incident. The couple's two adult sons, Douglas Alan Thomas Jr. and Christian Edward Thomas, were critically injured in the incident and were found by deputies responding to a 911 call from one of the wounded men.
