Laura Williams Newman, a 47-year-old white female, died on October 17, 2010, in Gastonia, North Carolina. She was a high school cheerleading coach at Ashbrook High School and was well-loved by her students and colleagues. Laura was found dead alongside her husband, Randall John Thomas Newman, in their car at the Gastonia Police Department.
