Amber Lynette Seymore, a 38-year-old Caucasian woman, tragically died on December 3, 2012, in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing. Amber was found dead in her home alongside her husband, Robert Seymore, also 38, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. Robert Seymore, a retired BART canine officer, shot Amber in the head before turning the gun on himself.
