Darin Greene, a 49-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on the night of March 23, 2014, in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Greene was visiting a friend, Harold Michael Evans, at 1313 New Hill Road when the incident occurred. Just before midnight, Greene was shot and killed, while Evans, a 65-year-old man, was wounded but later treated and released from a local hospital.
