Gary Leon Lane Jr., a 36-year-old African American male, passed away on May 17, 2014, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Gary, affectionately known as JR, was a proud and honorable veteran who served in the United States Army. He was employed by the City of Charlotte as a Traffic Controller II in a supervisory capacity.
