Daniel Cortez Morrison, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2014, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred when Morrison, along with another individual, picked up a passenger at a convenience store located at the corner of Cumberland Road and Wingate Road around 3:30 p.m. on that fateful Saturday.
