Julian Jerrod Gibson, affectionately known as JuJu, was a 24-year-old African American male from Wilmington, North Carolina. On August 9, 2014, he was tragically shot and killed in a shooting incident that occurred at 1585 S. 12th St. in Wilmington. The shooting took place at approximately 2:45 a.m., and Julian was pronounced dead at New Hanover Regional Medical Center shortly after.
