On November 26, 2014, 31-year-old Hispanic male Andres Alberto Martinez Trouch was fatally shot in Concord, North Carolina. According to police reports, around 2:04 p.m., his wife drove him to the Concord Police Department after he was shot during a confrontation on Malvern Drive at Lincoln Street. Despite emergency responders' efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Investigators determined that the shooting occurred during a confrontation between the victim and a Black male suspect. On December 3, 2014, Concord Police arrested 26-year-old Kevin Deshaun Dixon in connection with the homicide. Dixon was charged with murder, attempted armed robbery, discharge of a firearm into occupied property, and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
Andres Alberto Martinez Trouch was laid to rest in Concord, North Carolina.
