Maurice V. Williams Jr., a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 20, 2015, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Rosehill Road near College Lakes Park. Maurice was a passenger in a car when a man inside the vehicle began shooting. The gunfire struck Maurice, who was then driven to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
