Charles Dean Thompson, a 65-year-old white male from Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away on August 8, 2015, at his residence. Born on March 11, 1950, in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Thompson and Mable Gibson. Charles was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
