Anthony Lamont Howie, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 18, 2015, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the Grier Heights neighborhood, where Howie was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency medical services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately investigated by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
