Deontray Love, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 12, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred just one day before his 20th birthday. According to reports, Deontray was involved in an argument at a convenience store near Idlewild Road. The confrontation continued down Snow Lane, where Deontray was ultimately shot. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
