Patrick Simmons, a 19-year-old African American male from Ahoskie, NC, was tragically shot and killed on August 30, 2015, in Greensboro, NC. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning outside Club Lotus, located at the end of West Lewis Street. According to police reports, officers were responding to a disturbance in the Railyard parking lot when they heard a gunshot and found Patrick Simmons on the ground.
