On March 19, 2016, 27-year-old Jacorei Davis was tragically shot and killed in West Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 1:50 pm at the intersection of Donald Ross Road and West Boulevard. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene and found Jacorei Davis, a young African American man, suffering from a gunshot wound.
