J'Corey Terrell Bailey, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a broad daylight shooting on April 25, 2016, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 2800 block of Ashe Street, where officers responded to a shooting call just before 1 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Bailey dead at the scene.
