Maya Christine Alexander, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically passed away on June 12, 2016, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was a beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, and loyal friend. Maya was a graduate of Northeastern High School, class of 2008, and was employed by Ramada Plaza Oceanfront.
