Donnell Edwin Murray Jr., a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 17, 2016, in Shelby, North Carolina. He was found lying in the middle of Lincoln Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite efforts to save him, he later succumbed to his injuries at Carolinas HealthCare System-Cleveland in Shelby.
