Timothy James Brackeen, a 38-year-old white male, was a dedicated K-9 Officer for the Shelby Police Department in North Carolina. On September 10, 2016, while attempting to arrest a suspect near the intersection of DeKalb and Gidney Streets, Officer Brackeen was shot multiple times.
