Calvin Jerome Simpson II, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2016, in Reidsville, North Carolina. Known affectionately as "CJ," Calvin was shot to death in the doorway of his home at 159 Northfork Drive at approximately 3:40 a.m. after answering a knock at the door. The shooter fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the investigation open and unresolved for years.
