Todd Alan Swepson, a 63-year-old man from Marion, North Carolina, passed away on February 1, 2017. He was a native of McDowell County and the son of Lula Arvis Logan Swepson and the late Cecil Swepson, Sr. Todd's death was the result of a shooting incident involving his neighbor. The shooting occurred on the day of his death, and the suspect, identified as Gardin, called 911 to report the incident. Gardin was subsequently charged in connection with Todd's death.
