Joshua Brandon Pritchard, a 37-year-old white male from Marion, North Carolina, tragically passed away on January 14, 2021. Born on January 12, 1984, in Marion, he was the son of Max Alan Pritchard and the late Rose Marie Sellers. Joshua was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, riding four-wheelers, archery, and collecting antiques. He was a self-employed landscaper who took great pride in his work.
He is survived by his father, Max Alan Pritchard, his two sons, Brandon Issac Staley and Joshua Andrew Pritchard, his daughter, Harlow Wynter David, and several other family members.
On the evening of January 14, 2021, deputies from the McDowell County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a home on Wildrose Drive in Marion. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of Joshua Brandon Pritchard inside a Hyundai sedan. An investigation revealed that Joshua had been shot three times with a handgun by his girlfriend, Robin Daniels Eudy, a 43-year-old white female from Bakersville, North Carolina. The couple had gotten into a dispute inside the vehicle, which escalated into the fatal shooting.
Robin Daniels Eudy was arrested and charged with murder shortly after the incident. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office conducted a thorough investigation, which confirmed that the shooting occurred during an argument between the couple. Eudy was taken into custody and faced legal proceedings for her actions.

A gathering of family and friends was held on January 21, 2021, at Beam Funeral Service and Crematory, followed by a private graveside service.
