Eric Russell Oliver, a 28-year-old man from Durham, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 12, 2017. Eric, who was African American, was found fatally shot in the parking lot of the Bay Creek Apartments on Hudson Avenue in Durham. The incident occurred around 7 p.m., and upon arrival, officers discovered Eric's lifeless body near some parked cars in front of Building E. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
