Desconte Makell Bryant, an 18-year-old male from Goldsboro, NC, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2017, due to a gunshot wound. He was found on the front porch of his home at 410 Hollowell Street, suffering from the injury. Bryant was initially taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital and later transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Goldsboro Police Department treated the case as a homicide and launched an investigation into the incident.
