Daveon Antonio Andrews, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered Daveon Antonio Andrews deceased from a gunshot wound.
