Kimberly Woods, a 42-year-old woman from Burlington, NC, was found dead on September 12, 2017, in Greensboro, NC. She was discovered alongside Ricky Phayaxay, a 32-year-old man from Greensboro, in a home on Cedar Fork Drive. Both victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled as homicides. The police were called to the scene around 4:10 a.m. after reports of gunshots. This incident was later confirmed to be a double homicide.
