Tony Ray Battle, a 37-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on October 3, 2017, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Tony was a cook at a Waffle House on Randleman Road, where the incident occurred. On that fateful morning, a violent altercation broke out inside the restaurant and spilled into the parking lot.
