Sequan Maleek Flemming, a 20-year-old African American male from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2017. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when deputies responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Branch Avenue and Bowser Street in Roanoke Rapids. Upon arrival, they found Sequan Flemming suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
