Trevon Quantavius Fields, a 23-year-old African American male from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2021. Fields was discovered deceased in the trunk of a car during a traffic stop around 1 a.m. ET. The police found that he had been killed by apparent gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that Fields was likely murdered outside the city limits of Roanoke Rapids.
