Owen Caltagirone, a 15-year-old boy from Lillington, North Carolina, tragically passed away on November 13, 2017. Owen was a freshman at Star Academy in Lillington and was known for his vibrant personality and love for the outdoors. On the night of his death, Owen was with friends in a one-room building behind his family's home when he was shot. The incident occurred around 1 a.m., and despite efforts to save him, Owen succumbed to his injuries.
