Jimmy Lee Whitford, a 51-year-old man from Ernul, North Carolina, died on December 30, 2017. His death was initially reported as a result of a domestic dispute with his wife, Sharon Whitford. According to the investigation, Sharon Whitford claimed that during an argument, Jimmy attacked her, prompting her to retrieve a rifle and shoot him. Jimmy Whitford succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital shortly after the incident.
