Jackie Skelton, a 66-year-old white female from Tarboro, NC, was tragically found dead on September 6, 2018. Jackie, along with her husband Gary Skelton, the mayor of Leggett, NC, was discovered in their home during a welfare check. The couple had been shot to death, and their bodies were found on their property in rural Leggett.
