Demaira Chevez Williams, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 27, 2018, in Roxboro, North Carolina. Born on the same date in 1998, Demaira was celebrating his 20th birthday when the incident occurred. He was a resident of Burlington, North Carolina, and had a close-knit family, including his mother, Shawanda L. Williams, and his son, Bryson Williams.
