Javon Daniel Alim Sherwood, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on December 1, 2018, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sherwood was found with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Belle Haven Apartment Homes complex on Autumn Lake Court. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department . The initial investigation revealed that there were drugs at the scene, but it was not confirmed if the shooting was drug-related.
