Daron Bennell Huitt, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2019, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Daron was found with an apparent gunshot wound in the front yard of a home on Winston Street. Witnesses reported hearing around seven shots and seeing a car speed away from the scene. Daron was a father of three children, two daughters and one son, and worked as a mechanic. His mother described him as a "sweet guy, a great cook, and a comedian."
