Devin O'Dariess Lee, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2019, in Hickory, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Blue Ridge Heights apartments, where Devin was shot during a dispute. The shooting also resulted in injuries to a 3-year-old girl who was struck by shrapnel. Devin was rushed to Frye Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
