Luis Alonso Torres, a 40-year-old male from Hickory, North Carolina, was found dead on August 10, 2022. The Hickory Police Department responded to a medical emergency in the parking lot of King Hickory Furniture located at 1028 15th Street Drive Northeast. Upon arrival, emergency medical personnel were administering life-saving measures to Torres, who had suffered from an apparent gunshot wound to his torso. Despite their efforts, Torres was pronounced deceased at the scene.
