Dwayne Wilson Jr., a 32-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2019, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred during an exchange of gunfire between Wilson and another man. According to police reports, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Hoover Road shortly after 8:30 p.m. upon receiving a report of a gunshot wound.
